Traditional Birth Keeper

What is a traditional birth keeper?

A traditional birth keeper is a birth witness and companion who honours the natural physiological experience of birth, undisturbed and completely guided by the sovereign mother.

A Birth Keeper should not be confused with a licensed, regulated midwife.

I do not currently offer clinical or midwifery services of any kind.

I value your personal power and your intuition, especially when it comes to your body and your birth experience. It is my job to assist you in creating the experience that you have been MANIFESTING.

I view birth as a physiologically natural and ancestrally feminine journey that should be respected and nurtured. When you choose to work with Sasha Marie, you are choosing to embrace the path of Radical Birth.

Supporting Birth Diversity

I support birth - all birth,

but my niche is working with women whom embrace their ancestral feminine power in being sovereign mothers.

I provide emotional support, practical guidance, and mentorship for women in any stage of fertility, pregnancy, or postpartum; honouring every trimester and every outcome.

This includes:

-Unassisted live home birth, and all related home birth plans (with midwives) and free birth decisions

-Lesbian conception & home birthing journey's

-NICU stays, adoption, surrogacy, birth trauma, pregnancy and infant loss, abortion loss, wild mothering

At this time, I do not offer support for planned cesarean or hospital births outside of advocacy, or for trans birth experiences, as I do not have the lived experience or appropriate training to do so with integrity. I believe these stories deserve care from those deeply resourced in those areas.

Our experiences of birth are profoundly intimate and personal, and yet they have an irrefutable influence on our family, our community, and even our global culture.
